My Approach

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw upon a number of approaches which consider different aspects of the human experience. My training means I combine different theoretical perspectives and evidence-based clinical approaches depending on your needs as the client. My aim is to offer you a space where all parts of you are welcome. I will support you on your journey with sensitivity, warmth and respect.

My practice has a working style of empowerment and self-advocacy; I believe in the healing power of welcoming all parts of ourselves.  Working together, we can make sense of what is happening, why, and why now, to empower you to live things differently.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds.

My Expertise

I have been working in the mental health field for over fifteen years and have expertise in eating disorders, body dysmorphia and intergenerational trauma. I have practiced within a wide range of client’s and their experiences, such as; sex workers, neurodiversity, survivors of childhood sexual abuse, divorce, family relationships, depression, anxiety, sexual identity, financial trauma and the migrant experience.

I have extensive experience supporting clients going through the family courts system and understand how stressful and all-consuming these experiences can be.

I am sex-positive, kink-informed and LGBTQI+ affirmative.

Introductory Phone call

I offer a free, no obligation 20 minute introductory call which can take place via zoom or telephone, whichever you prefer. During this call, we will briefly discuss what brings you to therapy at this time, as well as practical details around availability and location.

Initial Meeting (50 minutes)

An initial meeting will allow us to meet in person and talk in more depth about what brought you to therapy. Importantly, you will have the opportunity to experience what I am like to see if we are a good fit. I charge £50 for an initial session.

Sessions

Sessions run for 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week. This would be a time protected space just for you. Our initial sessions take the form of an assessment which offers a chance for you to share your history, better understand the challenges you face and what your goals are for therapy.
